Gosh, Christmas is so magical with children! I just love seeing them light up when we read stories about Santa, listen to their hundreds of questions about his sleigh, reindeer, how he delivers so many presents to all the kids in the world and if they are on the nice or naughty list. Dizzy the elf made her daily debut at our house and the girls dressed her in a tutu. They loved waking up and looking for her new ‘hiding’ place each morning. Christmas was a special one for me because my mom and dad spent it with us. I loved our time together and hope they make a habit of coming out during the holidays. We went to the train park and to Zoo lights. It was pretty much a train wreck since the girls were all sick with a cold. Bahumbug.
Ella asked for a blue bike and Santa didn’t disappoint. She also got some beads to make jewelry and Aqua Beads for craft time, which she is now obsessed with. Avery got a baby doll high chair and some cupcakes and ice cream for her kitchen since she’s really into pretend play.
Overall, Christmas 2016 was a success. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
