The magic of Christmas came to life this year while we experienced it through our daughter’s eyes. Ella was beyond excited to open her gifts and was spoiled like any little girl should be 😉 After receiving several babydolls or ‘b’s’ as she calls them, she was expecting a new one with each gift. She received a stroller from Gramma and Grampa and literally filled it to the top with dolls and Olafs (her fav). She has become very nurturing after Avery was born. She will burp them, tell them to shhh, change their diaper, feed them and push them in a stroller.
Ella is really into books, so we got her some of the adorable Babylit books. They always have the best pictures and are perfect for new talkers. Ella’s vocabulary is growing by the day and these books help with teaching her colors, numbers, opposites, ABCs, animal sounds, etc.
Ryan and I decided to splurge on a kitchen play set for our soon to be playroom after our addition. We purchased the farm kitchen from Pottery Barn Kids and it is seriously the cutest thing ever. A kitchen isn’t complete without fruits, veggies, a tea kettle, pots, pans, eggs, milk, pasta, cupcakes, popsicles, pancakes and a hand mixer, so these were some additional things we got for her. Saying she loves it is an understatement.
Santa was very good to us all and we are beyond grateful. It was such a fun-filled Christmas with lots of laughs, amazing food, great company and best of all, our two sweet daughters. We are so very blessed.
