Ella’s new ‘thing’ is playing dress-up and loves wearing tutus. I happen to think she looks adorable in them, so she wears them anytime she wants. She is sure growing up and changing so fast! I never imagined what it would be like when she started having a mind of her own and could start making decisions and telling me “no mama”. Ella is really into princesses at the moment, so we introduced her to the movies Frozen, Tangled, Cinderella and Little Mermaid. Saying she loves to watch these movies in an understatement. We took her to the movie theater for the first time. It started out fine and turned into an ADD outing. 😉
I recently overheard Ella reading to herself and it was literally the cutest thing ever. She points and says what is on the page and even does noises and colors. She recognizes all colors now – proud mama.
She has a weird obsession with her plastic spoons and wants to take them everywhere we go. I bought her a backpack so she could take her spoons, bows and little princesses with her whenever we leave the house because you never know when you may need a fork or spoon. Lol.
As sweet as Ella can be, she also has entered the terrible twos with a vengeance. Taking her anywhere has become quite the task to say the least. Tantrums have become the norm around our house. Since this is new behavior, we are trying to tackle this one day at a time.
Oh What fun it is to be a two-nager.
