Ryan and I officially found out the gender of baby #2 and we couldn’t be happier! We had a gender reveal party the day before Easter to share with the family. We asked that everyone wear their guess and I think we surprised almost everyone 😉
We played a little game for the big reveal. The night before the party, Ryan and I were hard at work preparing the eggs for the egg hunt. We drained the yolk from the eggs without breaking them, dyed them in Kool-aid, filled them with Fruity Pebbles cereal (except one, which was filled with pink or blue sprinkles) and then glued tissue paper over the hole on the ends of the eggs. Whew! At the party, each guest had to find one egg to break. Since only one egg revealed the gender, we saved it for Ella to break last.
Egg Hunt… Ella’s eggs had jelly beans inside, so she collected one at a time, ate all the jelly beans and then moved on to the next.
