Mom-to-be & 15 week update

I received something special in the mail today from my mom. Not even thinking about the upcoming ‘mommy’ holiday, I wondered why she had sent me a card. It read:

“To a special mom-to-be. Who knew a love so big could begin so soon? Babies grab a hold of their mommy’s hearts long before they’re born and never let go. Happy Mother’s Day.” Love, Mom & Dad.

Now, if that doesn’t make a hormonal pregnant woman tear up, I don’t know what will!

15 week update ~ Nausea, nausea & more nausea!

How far along? 15 weeks
Total weight gain: 1 lb. Current weight: 96 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Nope.
Stretch marks? Nope.
Sleep: Overall, good, but waking up at 5am almost every day!
Best moment this week: Listening to baby’s heartbeat again. Dr. said it was 145, which according to the old wive’s tales, I am having a girl. We shall see…
Miss Anything? My mom, especially since she sent me that card.
Movement: Not yet, although baby was moving like crazy during the ultrasound.
Food cravings: Bread and butter pickles, lemons, fruit, bagel with cream cheese, cherry tomatoes dipped in salt and lactaid (lactose free milk).
Anything making you queasy or sick: Everything!
Gender prediction: Sooooo unsure.
Labor Signs: Nope.
Symptoms: Nausea, shortness of breath from time to time, headaches and I have never been so exhausted in my life.
Belly Button in or out? in.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy with a touch of crazy.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender on May 31!

175 days to go! Baby is the size of an orange.
